Article 89
After the filing of the application with the Registration Authority, the filing date and, as the case may be, the national or international classification number of industrial designs shall be recorded on it. Where the formal conditions are present, the relevant experts shall, within at most four months, examine the conditions set forth in Articles (82), (83), and (84) of this Act, and the result of that examination shall be notified to the applicant. The applicant may, within one month, respond to the expert report and present his reasons, or may within the same period make changes to the content of the application, provided that as a result of those changes the information contained in the new application does not go beyond the limits of the initial application. The Registration Authority shall notify the applicant, within one month, of its final opinion on acceptance or non-acceptance of the application, drawn up by the relevant experts taking into account the applicant's reasons and response and the reasons of interested parties (if presented). Where the application for registration is refused, the applicant may object to that decision subject to the provisions of Article (23) of this Act.
