Allocation of convention revenue

Up to fifty percent (50%) of the revenue derived from the implementation of the provisions of the conventions relating to the international registration of industrial property — accruing from the time of entry into force of this Act — shall be provided for and allocated, in the annual budget law, to the upgrading and equipping of the Industrial Property Office and the qualitative enhancement thereof.

Note — The Registration Authority is obliged to submit an annual report of its performance and the manner of expenditure of the revenues referred to in this Article to the Judicial and Legal Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
