Repeal of the prior law

As of the date of entry into force of this Act, the "Act on the Registration of Patents, Industrial Designs and Trademarks" (adopted 29 October 2007 / 7/8/1386) is repealed. --- The foregoing Act, comprising one hundred and fifty articles and one hundred and twenty-eight notes — the report on which was submitted to the open session by the Judicial and Legal Committee — was adopted at the open session of the Assembly on Tuesday, 1 Khordad 1403 (22 May 2024), and approved by the Guardian Council on 23/3/1403 (12 June 2024). **Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly — Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf**
