Support for commercialization

In order to provide support and remove obstacles on the path to commercializing inventions registered under this Act, the Government is obliged, within three months of the promulgation of this Act, to establish a Working Group for the Support and Removal of Obstacles to the Commercialization of Inventions, chaired by and under the responsibility of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, with the membership of the Ministries of Health, Treatment and Medical Education; Communications and Information Technology; Agriculture Jihad; Justice; Defense and Armed Forces Logistics; Petroleum; Energy; Foreign Affairs; and Science, Research and Technology; the Vice-President for Science and Technology; the Prosecutor-General; the head of the Department of Environment; the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting; the head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran; the head of the Cooperatives Chamber; the head of the Guilds Chamber; and the head of the State Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties. The regulation of this Article, which sets out the executive matters, shall be drawn up by the said Working Group within three months of the date of entry into force of this Act and approved by the Council of Ministers.

Note — The Registration Authority is obliged to send the list of registered inventions to the Working Group referred to in this Article on a monthly basis.
