Article 10

Where a person, pursuant to the "Law Permitting the Accession of the Government of Iran to the International General Union known as the Paris Union for the Protection of Industrial, Commercial and Agricultural Property," adopted 1337/12/10 [1 March 1959], files an application for patent registration with the registration authority of one of the countries that, at the time of filing the application, was a member of the Convention, he shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the said Convention — hereinafter referred to in this Act as the "Paris Convention" — have a priority right over other persons for a period of twelve months from the date of filing that application.

Note — Where the applicant for patent registration claims two or more earlier applications, the starting date of the priority right shall be calculated from the time of filing of the first application.
