The moral rights

The moral aspects of the rights arising from the invention include the following:

  1. 1.Mention of the name of the creator of the invention as the inventor: the inventor or inventors have the right to have their name mentioned as the inventor in the patent, even if the economic rights arising from the registration of the invention belong to another. Nevertheless, the inventor may, in writing, request the Registration Authority that their name not be mentioned as the inventor. In this case, their name shall not be entered in the patent;
  2. 2.Enjoyment of recognition and awards: any recognition, reward, cash prize, and privileges granted in any manner to the invention as a scientific achievement belong to the inventor, even if the economic rights arising from the registration of the invention belong to another.
