Article 37

Where the invention is in the form of a process, the economic rights arising from the patent certificate consist of:

  1. 1.Use of the process
  2. 2.The acts set forth in Article (36) of this Act in respect of products obtained directly by means of the process, except plant or animal varieties

Note — In respect of biological processes subject to the patent certificate that result in the propagation of the claimed genetically manipulated microorganism, products obtained directly from the propagated genetically manipulated microorganism are also covered by this Article.
