Article 31

The rule of Article (30) of this Act also applies where the objector, claiming rights other than the right of ownership, objects to an invention whose application for registration has been filed with the Registration Authority and which has not yet been registered in Iran, except where the invention is not legally registrable, in which case it is not necessary for a patent application to be filed with the Registration Authority.
