Article 62

The exclusive rights arising from a registered invention lapse in the following cases:

  1. 1.Expiry of the term of validity of the certificate
  2. 2.Abandonment
  3. 3.Non-payment of the annual or periodic fee
  4. 4.Invalidation of the certificate or invalidation of parts of the relevant claimsNote — Partial lapse of the patent right under this Clause is limited to the same claim or claims.
