Documents to attach

The following documents must be attached to the application:

1. 1.Proof of identity of the owner and the inventor;
2. 2.A written request that the inventor's name not be mentioned, where the inventor wishes their name not to appear in the patent;
3. 3.The document relating to the priority right, which must be filed simultaneously with the application or within one month thereafter at the latest (where priority is claimed);
4. 4.The receipt for payment of the statutory fees;
5. 5.Evidence of representation, where a representative files the application.

Note — As regards biological resources belonging to other countries, on a reciprocal basis, an access permit shall be requested from the applicant.
