Publication of the application

The Registration Authority shall publish the application and its annexes for the public after eighteen months have elapsed from the date of filing of the application or, where applicable, from the priority date. Where examination and approval of the application is completed before the said period, the applicant may, upon payment of the relevant fee and in writing, request the said authority to publish the application and its annexes before the eighteen-month period.

Note — The Registration Authority must also publish for the public the applications that have been rejected for any reason, and create the possibility of public access to an online system or search engine for the rejected applications.
