Requirements for registration

An invention is registrable if it satisfies the formal and substantive conditions set out in this Act. Where the Registration Authority establishes these conditions in accordance with the articles set out in this Part of the Act, it shall register the invention; otherwise, it shall reject the application and notify the applicant in writing of the rejection, stating the grounds.
