Death of the patent holder

In the event of the death of the patent holder while the patent remains in force, the rights arising from the registration of the invention shall pass to the heirs. In this case, the Registration Authority shall, at the request of the heirs or one of them and upon receipt of the relevant fee, enter the name of the heir or legatee as the rights holder, and shall register and publish the matter — stating the share of each — in the patent register.
