Article 14
The patent application must be completed on a special form prepared in accordance with the executive regulations of this Act and must include the following:
- 1.Identity information of the inventor
- 2.Identity information of the owner (the holder of the economic rights, whether the person who commissioned the invention or the person to whom the economic rights of the invention have been transferred)
- 3.Description of the invention
- 4.An abstract of the description of the invention
- 5.The claim or claims of the invention
- 6.Drawing or drawings (if any)
- 7.Designation of the class of the invention on the basis of the International Patent ClassificationNote — Completion of this Clause is optional.
- 8.Designation of annexes
Note — In this Act, "identity" means, for Iranian nationals, the first name, surname, and national number of a natural person, and the name, type, and exclusive identifier of a legal person; and for foreign nationals, the first name, surname, and address for natural persons, and the name and address for legal persons.
